Medicine is the art and science of healing through the energy system. It
integrates complementary therapies with traditional health care using a
holistic approach to healing. Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual
aspects all interrelate and affect a person’s overall health and well-being.
Thoughts,
experiences, and beliefs that may be causing an imbalance are identified, and
then documented using a comprehensive assessment and psycho-spiritual
treatment process. Energetic interventions are applied to help balance and
restore energy flow.

neighborhood The Center is on the corner of Oleatha and Oak Hill.
Take Arsenal from Kingshighway or Grand next to Tower Grove Park. Once
on Arsenal look for Bent Ave., turn onto Bent and continue, passing
an industrial area with green buildings, to Oleatha, turn left and the
driveway comes off on the right side at the end of the block. Turn in
and go forward and left around the building to the lower parking lot, enter
through the double doors.
ENERGY
MEDICINE CLASS OFFERINGS
Each
Energy Medicine class addresses a specific concept and its impact on the energy
system. In a safe, trusting environment, participants explore and experience
energetic interventions based on an identified need(s), thus providing an
opportunity for deep, holistic healing and personal growth.
Energy
Medicine is a Complementary Program certified through The International Alliance for
Health and Healing. The course schedule is structured in series covering
Energy Medicine levels 1 through 6 and includes Practicums and an Energy
Enhancement Retreat. Each series takes approximately 4 months. It is highly
recommended to take the courses "in series" as the quick pace of
intense energy instruction and work is designed to facilitate exponential growth
of the healer. Courses can also be taken individually to enhance
one's personal life. **It is not required that Parts 1 to 6 be taken in sequence.**
In an attempt to honor the intention of the work, as well as the teachers and
the students, allow your needs to be spoken and all efforts will be made to
honor all. We need all those called to be clear, and open, and radiant in this
transformation of our world.

1 - Clearing The Self
A person is made up
of a physical body, emotions, mind, and spirit, with all aspects interrelating.
Energetic imbalances within any of these areas can compromise health. Learn how
to complete an in-depth assessment of the energy system and then perform
interventions to restore balance and energy flow. (8 contact hours)

2 - Healing
Wounds
Our lives are affected by physical, emotional, mental or spiritual wounds
stored in the energy system. Learn how to release the blocks to energy flow that
can result from these wounds, and become free from the past. (8 contact hours)

3 - Changing Limiting Beliefs
Beliefs are stored in
the energy field and dramatically influence how we lead our lives. Learn what
beliefs may be adversely affecting your life and how to change them. Replace
limiting beliefs with new ones that better serve your highest potential. (8
contact hours)

4 - Changing Relationships Energetically
Healthy relationships are
essential for personal well-being. Through assessment, evaluation and treatment
of the energy centers, you can change your relationships. Learn how to free
yourself from energetic ties affecting your personal growth. (8 contact hours)

5 - Reshaping Family Dynamics
Family dynamics form
energy patterns which affect our present and future. This two-day course
explores family energy patterns and provides techniques to change them through
energetic interventions. Discover new ways of connecting between and among
family members. (16 contact hours)

6 - Clearing Meridians,
Organs, & Body Systems
Meridians are an
interconnected web of energy lines that nourish the internal aspects of the
human body, including organs and body systems. Learn ways to assess the
meridians, alter their energy flow, and manage internal energy. A strong
background in energy-based healing is required for this intensive, three-day
course in which you will discover how meridians influence health. (24 contact
hours)
Energy
Medicine Practicum
The Energy Medicine
Practicum offers professional supervision by an approved Energy Medicine
Instructor in either a group setting or an individual mentorship. Participants
will apply the EM principles and techniques from EM Parts 1-5 to become an
Energy Medicine Practitioner. (20 contact hours)
NOTE:
St. Louis EM Practicums are set up as full day opportunities to enhance the
skills and personal energy of the healer. Held on the first Saturday of the
month from 9AM to 4:30PM. They include supervised support of healer/client
sessions with appointments set at 9:00AM, 10:30AM, 12:30PM and 2:00PM.
Appointment setting is the responsibility of the healer. (It is recommended
that the sessions be documented toward Certification and the healer be
compensated for their work.) The day concludes with a review from 3:30-4:30.
Energy
Enhancement Retreats (Optional. Not part of EM curriculum. Open to other
modalities)
Anyone with advanced energetic experience is welcome (ex. EM, HT 3+, ask for
other modalities). Residential retreats, facilitated by Kay Cook, intended to develop intuitive and
energetic awareness of the healer through energy "play". Retreats are
relatively unstructured, unfolding with delightful surprises. The dynamic of
group energy combined with the freedom to flow provides an atmosphere of pure
potentiality.

BECOMING
A PRACTITIONER OR SPECIALIST
Energy
Medicine Practitioner
Becoming an Energy Medicine Practitioner entails completing EM Parts 1 -
5, a supervised practicum, and clinical documentation. Throughout the practicum,
participants will apply the knowledge they gained in EM Parts 1 – 5 about
Energy Medicine principles, assessments, interventions, and documentation.
Students will work with clients/patients while under the supervision of an
Energy Medicine Instructor.
Energy Medicine
Specialist
The Specialist program incorporates the entire Energy Medicine curriculum
with an individual participant’s unique background. Specialists will be
trained to work with complex energetic manifestations of illness by developing
advanced clinical skills and medical intuition. An Energy Medicine Practitioner can become a Specialist in Energy Medicine by completing
EM Parts 6
& 7, an in-depth mentorship, and clinical documentation. Throughout the
mentorship, students will work with clients/patients individually while keeping
in contact with an EM Faculty member about their clinical work.
