Kay is a full time practitioner facilitating healing with a variety of clients. She had helped 
to awaken and bring to consciousness the remarkable abilities of the body to heal itself. 
Some are looking to increase their focus or reduce stress, others to assist with pain or 
disease and yet others seeking peace as their lives come to a close. Her extensive 
knowledge of the human energy systems and her desire to ignite self-empowerment, not 
only helps whomever desires change but has taken her to South Africa to teach techniques 
to assist with the AIDS/HIV epidemic. Kay’s training is in Healing Touch, Energy Medicine, 
Hands & Heart Healing and Hydro-Transformation. She is a member of Healing Touch 
International. Kay is available as an Instructor, Facilitator, Speaker and Healer.

The vision and name, Genesis...A Place to Heal, came in meditation to our founder Kay Cook.  
The phrase "Energy Alchemy" was coined to help describe Kay's work.  Alchemy is defined by 
Webster as the speculative philosophy aiming toward the transmutation of base metals into gold, 
the discovery of a universal cure for diseases, and the discovery of a means of indefinitely 
prolonging life.  In the book "The Way of the Wizard," by Deepak Chopra, the author states, 
"A wizard causes transformation, turning fear to joy, frustration to fulfillment, time bound to 
timeless.  A Wizard can carry a person beyond limitations into the boundless.  A wizard practices 
alchemy, turning human beings into gold, turning base qualities of fear, ignorance, hatred and 
shame into the most precious stuff there is--Love and fulfillment.  So a teacher who can teach you 
how to turn yourself into a free, loving person is by definition an alchemist.
